SUNRISE
Sunrise is a social media brand that I have created as my BFA Capstone Project. It focuses on the negative impacts that social media has on mental health across the United States, while encouraging viewers to take a break and put their phone down. Along with the Instagram page, I have created a color palette, logo, gradients, website presence, branded merchandise, and a custom QR code.
Logo
While creating this logo, my goal was to portray sun rays in an abstract way while keeping the edges soft to invoke a sense of calmness and positivity. I chose a color palette that consists of reds, oranges, and yellows that was inspired by what you typically see at various stages of a sunrise, and paired them with a blue the represents the sky surrounding.
